It’s been very cold lately.

When the weather gets cold, you may have stiff shoulder and or feel pain like arthritis due to bad blood circulation.

When you feel cold, the body tries to maintain the warm temperature, so the blood vessels of your hands, legs and the surface of the body are constricted, and the muscles around those parts become hard due to lack of blood.

Also, soft tissues like muscles and tendons change its hardness due to temperature.

Soft tissues become hard during the cold and the force is loaded on the muscles and tendons where they attach to bone when they are expanded and contracted, and that can cause pain.

It’s important to make your body warm and supple.

Warm your body from inside and outside by wearing warm clothes, eating hot meals and drinking hot drinks.

You can also enjoy warming yourself up in the bath.

Moderate exercises like Yoga and Walking stimulate the circulation of the blood.

If you feel pain during the exercise, you may have to switch to the lighter exercise.

However, you don’t have to stop the exercise completely.

Continued moderate exercises gradually increase your muscle mass and generate heat. It helps support your joint and you become physically tough against the cold.

Let’s get prepared for the winter by making your body supple in the warm studio with floor heater and warming up your body from inside and outside.

                   10:00-11:30 Basic yoga level 2

                   12:00-13:30 Basic yoga level 1
